Day 14: Holding On
Many times I've failed you,
Your little patience grew;
Not your normal way,
You got better, day by day.
The times your fuse snaps,
I know it's just a lapse;
I hold on to what you uttered,
You love me, though you suffered.
Each day I'll write, A poem that's bright; Or dim, maybe, Next year we'll see.
Many times I've failed you,
Your little patience grew;
Not your normal way,
You got better, day by day.
The times your fuse snaps,
I know it's just a lapse;
I hold on to what you uttered,
You love me, though you suffered.
